6 week Challenge Winner - Trish!

I was 48 years old and at my heaviest ever weight, with poor nutrition and discipline. At that point I felt mentally and physically unmotivated. I knew I needed to make a change and do something for me. This is where my Body Blast journey begun. In January 2021 I started a membership at Bodyblast for a fresh start. I was initially very anxious and felt like a fish out of water, concerned about what others would think of me and how far I had let myself slip. But there was no need to be nervous, the Body Blast community was an inclusive and judgment free zone with lots of laughs and friendships which have been built along the way. A warm environment where we push each other to become the best versions of ourselves. I started to get into the rhythm of attending classes and made sure I moved my body in some way every single day. Little did I know this routine would be key to my success.


The instructors Kate and Cherie put a huge emphasis on the importance of nutrition and fuelling your body to conquer each day. This was a huge challenge for me as I had adopted so many bad habits over the years, eating what I want whenever I want. As my habits began to shift thanks to the guidance and support of both Kate and Cherie, the weight started to fall off. Since starting at Body blast 20 months ago, I have lost a total of 12kgs! I have never been happier and more content with the life I live. It has been a huge lifestyle change, and now at 50 I am in the best condition both physically and mentally that I have ever been.


For anyone considering starting their fitness journey, there is no time like the present! I cannot recommend Body Blast enough. Kate and Cherie provide a great variety of classes for all levels as well as excellent nutritional advice and challenges to join where you are not shamed but guided to improve your choices while also being held accountable.


This is the best investment I have ever made for myself, and although it was not easy it was totally worth it!
